Marina has thousands of children and she loves each of them dearly. This mother has the power to give life and take it away.
This is a piece I concepted, modeled and textured to evoke the familiar feeling of a Renaissance painting with a strong single light source as though each child is gift from god. She is a villain so not all of her intentions are pure.
Another unlikely robot in this years collection. Just your typical octo-mech, loving mother of a glass shrimp drone baby.
Inspired by many things but technically inspired by old diving and submersible equipment. The tentacle ends are similar to whale harpoons from the 1800's that I saw in a museum.

Yes, those are cameras. She is all-seeing. Missing nothing. Whether perfection or something less, she will hold her babies accountable.
