Rise of the Tomb Raider - Environments

Got to work with some seriously talented artists on this project. It was a beast to complete and I learned a ton along the way.

Layout/composition, modeled some rocks, some architecture and lit this shot. This scene got a lot crazier when the polish pass happened.

A lovely setting in a dark place. It was my ray of sunshine while building tombs.

If you peek through the doorway of the previous shot you will see the stairway in this one. I did mostly layout, composition and lighting in this area. Most of the assets were created already.

One of the puzzle rooms in the flooded tomb. Modeling, textures and lighting for this shot. It later got a lighting pass from a proper lighting artist.

We worked with the Eidos|Montreal studio on this tomb. I built this side of the chasm and they focused on the other. So much metaphor in that. Kidding, that studio is so full of talented artist.

Here's what the flooded tomb room from the first shot became. Looks great but I really liked the simpler shot. Most of this was created by other artists though so I can't claim the polish work. I would name them but i fear I might leave someone out.
